Young artists are invited to come imagine new concepts, explore various mediums, and to create original works of art!  We will learn about a different artist and medium to create a new work of art.

MINI CAMP with Shaunna Foell, K-5th Graders

JUNE 12 & 14, 26 & 28 AND JULY 10 & 12, 24 & 26

TUESDAY & THURSDAY, 1:00-3:00pm, Advance Registration Required

Little Art House is thrilled to partner with Shaunna Foell, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in Nashville with years of experience working with diverse learners, such as those with developmental disabilities, to increase prosocial behavioral skills. We are combining our expertise in both art education and behavior therapy to present this class where students of ALL abilities may come to learn and play together.

MINI-CAMP, AGES 3-5yrs.

his is a great start for kiddos who want to enjoy art making with camps.  For 90 minutes, we will create a couple of art project, read books, have a snack break and enjoy other creative activities.

*This mini-camp is drop-off and campers are expected to have previous independent experiences.

CREATORS CAMP, Middle School

JUNE 4-8 & 18-22, AND JULY 16-20

MONDAY, WEDNESDAY, AND FRIDAY 1:00-4:00pm, Advance Registration Required

Young artists are invited to come imagine new concepts, explore various mediums, and to create original works of art!  We will learn about a different artist and medium to create a new work of art.  

This class is perfect for students ready to develop their skills and create multiple works of art.

PORTFOLIO CAMP, 6th-12th Grade

JUNE 5&7, 19 & 20 AND JULY 17 & 19

TUESDAY & THURSDAY, PURCHASE DAILY OR ENTIRE WEEK

Artists will work with multiple mediums and subject matters to strengthen their technical skill while potentially finding their artistic voice. Each day will consist of their choice of medium to explore and a variety of subject matters.  Mediums include, but are not limited to, drawing with charcoal, pencil, oil pastel; painting with tempura, watercolor, and acrylic; printmaking; limited sculpture.  Students who attend consistently this week should end the week multiple with multiple works of art to add to their portfolio!

CREATIVE WRITING & ART CAMP, 4th-8th Grade

July 30th-August 3rd, 9:00-4:00pm

DAILY SCHEDULE:  9:00-12:00 Creative Writing // 12:00-1:00 Lunch // 1:00-4:00 Art

Guest teacher, Jessica D'Haese, joins us in teaching the art of creative writing while Little Art House will guide campers in developing imagery through illustrations. Young creators will spend the morning developing and writing their own stories and in the afternoon, they will design the characters and imagery connected to their writing. Brain games and general fun also included!

* This camp will build on the previous days work and we ask that campers attend every day- please email us if you are interested but cannot make the entire week commitment. *

BACK TO SCHOOL CAMP, K-2nd Grade

August 6th-10th, 9:00am-4:00pm

Join us for a full day of art-making fun to finish up this summer break! Our projects will span multiple mediums including, but not limited to, collage, watercolor, tempura paint, and oil pastel.  Subject matter will be inspired by classic books, artists, and art movements..

Each day we will work on at least 3 projects with different projects each day. The full day includes 2 snack breaks, lunch and a trip to the park (permission slips must be provided to attend this camp).  Please bring a lunch and feel free to bring a snack or we will have a couple of selections provided as well.   We look forward to enjoying the last few days of Summer with you!

Back to School, 3-6yrs.

AUGUST 13TH-17TH, 9:00AM-12:00PM, ADVANCE REGISTRATION REQUIRED

This camp is perfect for kiddos who attend a school-like setting on a weekly basis (such as pre-school, day care, or Mother's Day Out) and are adjusted to being dropped off for a longer length of time with children of a similar age. For this three hour camp, we will create at least two to three new projects each day with a snack break in between
